Victoria Park / Vista Norte

PALM SPRINGS

Located between Vista Chino and Racquet Club, and not far off Indian Canyon, Vista Norte/Victoria Park neighborhood has spectacular expansive mountain views and, while “suburban” in feel with its wide streets, sidewalks, and series of cul-de-sacs, it’s close in to the Uptown Design District with a variety of nearby shopping and restaurants. Albertson’s, restaurants, and the Steel Gym anchor the neighborhood and allow for easy access to shopping, food and exercise. Loco Charlies is a favorite, and Boozehounds with plant-based options is nearby, and as the name implies, is very dog friendly. The sprawling Victoria Park is a neighborhood favorite…for playing fetch with your dog, a picnic or nap under one of the many mature olive trees, and one of the best play structures in town for the kids. Access to the CV Link is just a tad over a mile away either at Sunrise Way or Tramview Rd. The CV Link is a dedicated path for biking, walking, and small electric vehicles. Eventually, the CV Link will span approximately 40 miles connecting Palm Springs to Coachella. Many paths through Palm Springs and Cathedral City are now open, or soon will be (as of Spring 2025). If you’re looking for nearby volunteer opportunities, The Desert AIDS Project (DAP) is close by at Vista Chino and Sunrise Way.
