The first "Pop Up Palm Springs" takes place April 16th, 2019

April is a jam-packed month for events in Palm Springs, and the Coachella Valley. The Coachella Music Festival is the biggest, and most well-known, and this year it’s held over the 13th/14th and 20th/21st weekends.

Some of us locals get overwhelmed with the crowds (on the roads, in restaurants, etc etc), and we just “shut down” and stay home, or maybe leave town. For me personally, the Coachella weekends are a favorite time in Palm Springs. I’ll save why for another article.

The “Pop Up” event’s goal is to get us local (and probably visitors too!) out to downtown/uptown businesses during the week between Coachella.
